Highlights of presentations of particular interest to glaucoma specialists
27May2011 Note: I am continuing to edit these articles and ‘publishing’ new entries as I complete each one. WIth the 74th Annual COS Meeting June 9-12, 2011 from Vancouver, I will be sure to finish editing last year’s articles and get ready for the new conference blog.
The full title of this talk was: Vascular factors in glaucoma: New challenges (new evidence on vascular factors, perfusion pressure, blood pressure, disc hemmorrhages.) Dr Leske looked at the evidence for perfusion pressure as a risk factor for glaucoma and how low BP, including that caused by treatment of high BP, can increase the glaucoma risk.
Glaucoma
